"Metroid Zero Mission" is a remake of the original story of Metroid (NES), along with original composer Hirokazu Tanaka; Minako Hamano and Kenji Yamamoto worked together to give music, special treatment and also to maintain the originality of it.
Minako Hamano and Kenji Yamamoto made an extension of most tracks as "Kraid Lair", adding an impressive section of coral, although his change was not the most dramatic. "Norfair" received one of the largest improvements, with a melodious flute and choir propagation. "Ridley's Lair" also received a major overhaul, dumping the intensity of the original in favor of a hallway filled with slower and more creepy ghosts. Finally, there are two versions of "Brinstar".
Yamamoto-san also tied the series together aurally by integrating topics Metroid Primestyle hut and a good relationship with the theme "Title" Super Metroid in the "Metroid appear" scene. There are also remixes of "VS. Ridley", "VS. Kraid" "Spore Spawn" and "Space Pirates Appear" and two clever arrangements of "Ship Wrecked" Super: low and threatening "Crateria" and jazz, cunning "Space Pirate Mother Ship."
However, the selection of instruments is somewhat lower than the melting due to the different styles of art and the legacy of the original songs. Still, the soundtrack manages some fantastic low, especially "VS Mecha Ridley" and the Japanese version of "Theme Escape" and also has excellent corals synthesizers, such as those found in the "Ending", and good body with "VS. God of War "., An excellent global and fantastic tribute to the original score. The soundtrack was created with r956 VBA-M, with a filter -0.3 closely emulate the actual hardware sound GBA

Metroid: Other M marks the game soundtrack debut of Kuniaki Haishima, known for composing anime such as Appleseed, Spriggan, and Blue Gender. The soundtrack, particularly the high-quality cutscenes, were recorded by the prestigious Arigat-Orchestra in Tokyo and Asian Philharmonic Orchestra in Beijing.
At first glance, Other M marks a reversal of musical traditions established by Kenji Yamamoto, but on closer inspection, it has more in common with the original Metroid (or the film Aliens) through its use of atmosphere and departure from melody, exemplified in pieces such as “Main Sector”, “Sector 1 (Biosphere) Specimen Observation Area”, and "Sector 3 (Pyrosphere) Industrial Area”. The soundtrack also contains a number of new melodies that fit perfectly with Kenji Yamamoto's scores, including “Sector 1 (Biosphere) Kihunter Hive”, which sounds as if it came directly from Super Metroid; “Green Blood”, “Approaching Sector Zero”, and “Final Mission Resolve”, which all fit with Metroid Fusion's style; the intense battle theme “VS. Mystery Creature"/"VS. Cyborg Zebesians”; the emotional “Piano Medley”; and the inspirational “Staff Roll”. Of course, Other M also sees a return of classic Metroid themes, including the haunting “Title Theme”, “Theme of Super Metroid” in the form of“Load Screen”, "Mysterious Statue Chamber" as "Sector 2 (Cryosphere) Frozen Research Facility", and, of course, the ever-popular “VS. Ridley”.
